bio:
Andre attended Cottonwood High in Murray, Utah where his football coach/teacher Pierre Jones noticed his interest in music. Pierre had his own entertainment company and was gearing up for The Sundance Film Festival at the time Andre met him. Pierre had 4 shows booked where he needed someone to flyer. Andre took the opportunity to help pass out those flyers and showed Pierre his ambition. After the Sundance and being active in the local Salt Lake City entertainment scene, Andre came into contact with Jason Dodson aka DJ Knucklez and Self Expression Music Artist/Producer Lloyd Macintosh aka LAM in 2005 where he started learning how to DJ and Record music at an inner city program. Andre then interned at KRCL 90.0FM for the “Friday Night Fallout Show”. At that moment Andre knew he wanted to learn more about the radio career. In 2009 Andre had a opportunity to host events for Dogemout.com which was a website catered to freestyle rap battles. After hosting many of shows throughout the Wasatch Front, Dogemout.com had an opportunity to have a segment on KUUU 92.5FM where they would broadcast rap battles from the station. Andre co-host the show alongside radio personality Booker & Lyric. After every show Andre would edit video footage and monitor all the official Dogemout.com social media accounts. The buzz of this show took Utah by storm. Every year U92 would throw a hip-hop concert series called “Summer Jam” & “Cinco De Mayo” where Andre would host Dogemout.com rap battles both on a second stage and main stage during these concerts. After leaving Dogemout.com in 2011 Andre began to write/produce music under LTA Records. Andre has written music in all types of genres (Folk, HipHop, EDM, Pop) and has performed at Sundance along with opening up for such artist as TechN9ne, Haystack, Brother Lynch, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, WC, The New Boyz, The Rejectz, AfroMan, DJ Felli Fel, Game, Pitbull, Dev and The Cataracts, Nipsey Hussle, T-Pain, De La Soul, Bobby Brackins. DJing for The Salt Lake Screaming Eagles (Professional Football) and most recently Andre won the 2017 Best of Utah City Weekly award for BEST DJ! You can say Andre has seen it all at such a young age and has been under a lot of pressure but still always able to provide a quality product.
